"A radically different world order was established after Word War 2, based on the Bretton Woods institutions (UN, IMF, World Bank, ...), the dissolution of separate European empires, and Pax Americana. WHO'S BEHIND THE RAND CORPORATION?

Herman Kahn of the RAND Corp.
The RAND Corporation specializes in thinking the unthinkable. A very interesting think tank, to say the least. Their roster of employees includes an impressive number of movers and shakers on the American political stage during the last five decades. Chalmers Johnson at Alternet.org has written an extensive article on its background.
