STEALTH SURFING

Many Internet Service Providers (ISPs) in the western world are required by law to track nearly everything you do online. While the US government has been trying to hide their electronic wiretapping program as a state secret, the EU made theirs public by passing theData Retention Directive of 2006. Article 5, under “Categories of data to be retained”, lists the gory details of what is tracked. This is required for home phones, mobile phones, Internet telephony and e-mail. And depending on the country, this information will be kept for 6 months to 2 YEARS."

SURVEILLING EVERYTHING

What will happen when power-crazed governments across the globe have the technological capacity to record and analyze literally everything for immediate and future reference? Nothing good, of course.

HAARP WEATHER WARS

HAARP (High Frequency Active Auroral Research Project) is run jointly by the US Air Force and Navy, in conjunction with the Geophysical Institute of the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. Similar experiments are also being conducted in Norway, probably in the Antarctic, as well as in the former Soviet Union.(22) HAARP is a research project using a ground based apparatus, an array of antennae each powered by its own transmitter, to heat up portions of ionosphere with powerful radio beams.(23) The energy generated heats up parts of the ionosphere; this results in holes in the ionosphere and produces artificial 'lenses'.

Can we manipulate the weather for military purposes? For years, the independent media have been mentioning the HAARP technology and speculating about its possible applications. Its existence has been disputed, but as always the good info is out there somewhere. Here's a 1999 EU report talking about the sinister aspects of weather manipulation.

THE MEN WHO STARE AT GOATS

Take your time to view this documentary by Jon Ronson. The Men who Stare at Goats tells the fascinating story of the U.S Army's efforts to create a super soldier using the powers of the mind. Good info and a very interesting cast of characters.
